Eddy current testing is one of the non – destructive testing methods, the probe
using a coil of wire wrapped around a piece of iron to generate the magnetic
field that caused the eddy currents, the magnetic field that is generated by the
eddy currents can be detected using this same probe and monitoring the
magnetic field being produced by these eddy currents with the instrument MS-
5800 eddy scope.
Calibration Standard
Using the same material of tube to make manual defect and notch, the
calibration standard then can be set for defect evaluation.
